Developer Track Descriptions
Workshop 1
Creating and providing the Battery Passport across the supply chain
Juilee Tikekar (IDTA), Sandeep Rudra (IDTA)
Explore how a Digital Product Passport is created and shared across the battery supply chain. In this interactive workshop, participants will take on the roles of different supply chain stakeholders and work through an end-to-end DPP workflow, gaining practical insights into how the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) enables interoperable Digital Product Passports.
Workshop 2
AI-enhanced AAS-based Digital Product Passport creation and validation
Maximilian Kühn (Fraunhofer IOSB), Marc Haller (Fraunhofer IOSB)
Discover how AI can support the creation and validation of Asset Administration Shell (AAS)-based Digital Product Passports (DPPs). In this interactive workshop, participants will combine short presentations with hands-on exercises to explore AI-assisted DPP creation, deployment, and validation, gaining practical insights into improving the quality and consistency of AAS-based Digital Product Passports.
Workshop 3
Practical application of an open AAS ecosystems
Marcus Schüle (M&M Software), Christina Bornträger (Meta Level)
In this joint 90-minute workshop hosted by M&M Software and Meta-Level, we demonstrate how the vision of an open AAS ecosystem can be supported in practice. Using concrete integration scenarios, we explain how AAS.TwinEngine, the Meta-Level Designer, and viewer components work together to implement AAS-based digital twin scenarios that are production-ready and operational—without relying on proprietary end-to-end solutions. The hands-on session (Part 6) is designed to allow participants to experience the end-to-end workflow firsthand.
About this Event
The IDTA Tech Days are the annual technical community event for IDTA members.
A two-day immersive event where members dive into technical workshops, explore Submodel creation, and learn about the latest innovations in AAS development. The program includes, next to an informative program and practical developer tracks, multiple networking opportunities to foster collaboration among industry professionals.
Last year, more than 180 participants joined the event.
This year's edition will focus on Digital Product Passports, Data Spaces, Semantics and Industrial AI.
Registration Notice
Registration for this event is open exclusively to IDTA members. Non-members interested in attending may request access by contacting us at info@idtwin.org. Please note that, as this is a member-exclusive event, such requests may be subject to rejection.
